No one is a stranger to David. He is always happy to greet you and give you a kiss on your hand or a pat on your head. He has even been known to give quite a good head rub; however, his specialty is BIG hugs. David\u2019s mother shared this story of his first childhood friend, Danny, \u201cThe two boys participated in Special Olympics Texas together. Although Danny used sign language and grunting to communicate, David always knew what Danny wanted. They held hands and went everywhere together. When Danny would lag behind in a race, David would stop, grab Danny\u2019s hand and they would cross the finish line together.\u201d To David, being a good friend is better than winning the race! David sets a good example of how to be a true friend by always being friendly, smiling and showing lots of love. \u2764\ufe0f
